WINCHESTER, ID – The Winchester Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire Sunday afternoon in Winchester.

According to the department, crews were dispatched at approximately 3:55 p.m. on April 5, Easter Sunday, to a report of a vehicle fire in front of Winchester Kitchen and Bar on Nezperce Avenue.

Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the engine compartment and dashboard of the vehicle. The fire was contained to the vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

The Winchester Volunteer Fire Department and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
