SPIRIT LAKE – The Lewiston Bengal Varsity Cheer team qualified for State on Saturday, while competing at Timberlake High School in Spirit Lake, Idaho.

The Bengals were named Grand Champions of the District cheer competition, placing first in three events including Pom, Sideline, and Show routines. 

The team will now compete at the state competition in Nampa, Idaho on February 10th.
