On February 21, 2023, around 7 PM, Idaho County Dispatch received a call from the White Bird area requesting an ambulance for a male who had a stab wound and was bleeding badly.

Idaho County deputies responded to St. Mary’s Hospital in Cottonwood and met with the victim, a 33-year-old male from Grangeville.

Michael Mozingo, age 30, of Kooskia, Idaho was arrested for felony aggravated battery.
