Idaho State Police is investigating a death that occurred early Wednesday morning, March 1, 2023.  The deceased male was located westbound Interstate 84 near milepost 26 in Canyon County.

Troopers located an abandoned vehicle in the area at approximately 5:54 am. At approximately 10:10 am, troopers were dispatched to a deceased male on westbound Interstate 84 near milepost 26, approximately a half mile from the abandoned vehicle. During the investigation the male was identified as the owner of the abandoned vehicle and it appears the male was struck by a vehicle traveling west on the Interstate.
