On March 28, 2023, around 8:10 AM, Idaho County deputies were on routine patrol and performed a traffic stop on Highway 95 near milepost 218.
During the contact, an open bottle of alcohol was observed in the vehicle.
Erik Shogren, age 50, of Crescent City, California, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
