On August 27, 2023, around 4:21 PM, Idaho County Deputies were contacted by a citizen who stated there was an unwanted person at their residence and assistance was needed in getting him to leave. Idaho County Deputies responded to a residence in Mount Idaho and located a male subject in an RV parked outside of the home. Upon contacting the male subject, drug paraphernalia was observed in plain sight. Methamphetamine was also located. Robert Smith, age 52, of Grangeville, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor criminal trespassing, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, and misdemeanor concealment of evidence.
