KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The women of LC State Cross Country maintained their spot in the NAIA’s top 20 with a rating of No. 20 on Thursday. The Warriors fell one spot from last week’s rating of No. 19.
LC State Cross Country will host its home meet on Saturday to close out the regular season. The LC State Invitational will take place in the Lewiston Orchards at the LC State Cross Country Trail. The race will be key for the Warriors’ postseason hopes with No. 16 Rocky Mountain (Mont.) in attendance. A win over the Battlin’ Bears could help LC State in the rankings.
Cascade Conference opponents No. 3 College of Idaho and No. 7 Southern Oregon maintained their spots in the ratings. Eastern Oregon is receiving votes.
