On October 18, 2023, at approximately 11:58 a.m., Idaho State Police responded to a single vehicle crash southbound on US95 near milepost 323.5 in Nez Perce County.  A 55 year-old male from Lewiston, Idaho, was driving a 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup southbound on US95.  The pickup was towing a 1980 flatbed trailer loaded with lumber.  The trailer began swerving side to side and resulted in the driver losing control of the pickup, which overturned on the southbound shoulder.  The trailer detached from the pickup and spilled its load of lumber.  The pickup was not equipped with seatbelts.  Nez Perce County Sheriffs Office and Genesee Ambulance assisted at the scene.  The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
