November 8, 2023 – 8:15 PM PST (Moscow, Idaho) — Due to the current natural gas outage, all non-essential City of Moscow business offices will be closed on Thursday, November 9th. The City’s buildings are heated with natural gas and are unable to be heated by other means except for the Police Services Facility which is heated by electric heat pumps. All essential and emergency services and facilities will remain in operation and the City’s utility, sanitation, and other services will remain unaffected. City offices will remain closed on Friday, November 10th in observance of Veterans Day and will reopen on Monday, November 13th.
