AHSAHKA, Idaho – On December 7, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced that Dworshak Dam will be closing some of its recreation areas for the winter season.

Canyon Creek, Merry’s Bay, and Dent Acres Campground are currently closed. Foot traffic is still permitted, but no overnight camping is allowed.

Dent Acres Boat Ramp will be closed on Dec. 11. Big Eddy and Bruce’s Eddy recreation areas and boat ramps will remain open throughout the winter.
