DOJ Grant Application Season Is Here! Update Your SAM.gov and Grants.gov Registrations Now

Fiscal Year 2024 solicitations are already being posted—so get ready! We want you to be part of the grant application process. (All open DOJ funding opportunities are posted on Grants.gov.)

To apply for federal funding, you must first register your entity with SAM.gov and Grants.gov. If you’ve used these systems in the past, you still need to ensure that your registration and users are current.

  • You can register at any point during the year. Note: SAM.gov registrations expire after 12 months and must be renewed annually.
  • Start early to ensure you have updated your entity’s points of contact, as needed. This will prevent delays in completing your application—or potentially missing the application deadline.

For more tips on using SAM.gov and Grants.gov, visit the JustGrants Resources Application Submission Training page.
