White Bird Man Arrested on Drug and Weapons Charges Following Routine Traffic Stop

WHITE BIRD – Around 4:21 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024, an Idaho County Deputy on routine patrol stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in White Bird.
While speaking with the driver, the deputy observed a jar of marijuana, bullets, and a rifle in plain view. It was confirmed the driver was ineligible to possess firearms and he was subsequently arrested. During a search incident to arrest, methamphetamine, a scale, and marijuana were located on his person. Two additional rifles, a handgun, and paraphernalia were also located in the vehicle. The total weight of the methamphetamine was approximately 19 grams.
Jacob Larson, age 39, of White Bird, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, felony unlawful possession of a firearm, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
