(Kooskia, ID) On June 9, 2024, at approximately 11:50 AM, an Idaho County Deputy was on routine patrol in the Kooskia area. An arrest warrant had been recently issued for a subject in Kooskia and the deputy recognized him driving past him in a maroon pickup in the city of Kooskia.
The deputy turned around, and a traffic stop was initiated. The driver was identified as Michael Massey, the subject of the warrant.
K9 Millie and her handler arrived, and she was deployed for an open-air sniff and alerted on the vehicle.
Massey, age 38, of Kooskia, Idaho was arrested for the outstanding Idaho County warrant, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
