(Lewiston, ID) The Army National Guard will be conducting emergency response training exercises in our area from June 24th – June 26th.
Monday, June 24th, and Tuesday, June 25th:
Training will take place in the front parking lot at Lewiston High School.
Wednesday, June 26th:
Another training exercise will be conducted at the Port of Lewiston.
You may see soldiers wearing military gear, tents, equipment, and the use of military vehicles at this location. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS JUST A TRAINING EXERCISE AND NOT A TRUE EMERGENCY.
These activities are part of routine training to ensure our National Guard is prepared for emergencies. There is no cause for concern.
