Clarkston High School students assist the Clarkston Fire Department in welding project

(Clarkston, WA) On Tuesday, December 4 2024, a group of welding students from Clarkston High School assisted the Clarkston Fire Department in welding a piece of important equipment.
The equipment in question is the fire departments “practice door”. It is a took used to practice efficiently getting a locked door open when actively fighting a fire.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, the Clarkston firefighters sincerely thanked the students for their efforts.
“[We] Want to thank Clarkston High School welding for redoing our forcible entry prop. We use this to practice quickly and safely forcing a locked door when access is needed to fight fire. Thank you so much and we hope that the practice you got while welding this plays into your future careers!”
