Three North Idaho Men Arrested for Child Sexual Exploitation

COEUR D’ALENE, ID – The Idaho Attorney General’s Office has announced the arrest of three North Idaho men on child sexual exploitation charges following residential search warrants executed last week.

On February 18th, 42-year-old Travis McClure was arrested on seven counts of possession of child sexual exploitation material. The Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force conducted the investigation with assistance from the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and the Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office.

28-year-old Dakotah Kitchen was arrested on February 19th, facing seven counts of possession of child sexual exploitation material, two counts of distribution, and one count of possessing visual representations of child sexual abuse. This investigation involved the Post Falls Police Department and the Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office.

On February 20th, 43-year-old Matthew Cash was arrested on eight counts of possession of child sexual exploitation material and two counts of possessing visual representations of child sexual abuse. The ICAC Task Force received support from the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office.

Attorney General Raúl Labrador emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in safeguarding children. “Our growing network of agency partnerships across the state is showing that, together, we are making a difference in protecting children,” Labrador stated.

The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
