DAVENPORT, WA — A fatal traffic collision occurred early Sunday morning, February 23, 2025, approximately four miles west of Davenport on State Route 2.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported at 1:20 AM when a 1983 Ford F-150 pickup traveling eastbound left the roadway and rolled over before coming to a stop upside down in the center of the highway.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Brody J. Schillinger of Davenport, WA, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities have not yet determined whether drugs or alcohol were involved, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol responded to the scene, with Johnson Family Towing handling vehicle removal. Next of kin notification was completed by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials urge drivers to use caution on State Route 2, especially during nighttime hours. Further details will be released as the investigation continues.
