LEWISTON, ID – The Lewis Clark Volleyball Club (LCVBC) U15 team has secured a spot in the 2025 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in Dallas, Texas. No Lewis-Clark Valley based team has had the opportunity to participate in Nationals for approximately 10 or more years, according to Christina Cargill, LCVBC Club Co-Director.
The team consists of nine athletes from the Lewis-Clark Valley, Nez Perce, and Riggins communities. Throughout the season, they have competed in regional tournaments, including a recent event in Glendale, Arizona, where they placed in the top ten in the gold bracket out of approximately 100 teams.
“This group of girls has worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone. Their dedication, resilience, and passion for volleyball have been inspiring to witness,” said LCVBC Head Coach Shannon Erbst.
LCVBC was established this season with the goal of competing at the national level, which they achieved in their first year. The team is now seeking sponsors and donations to assist with travel, lodging, and tournament fees.
“We believed in these girls from the very beginning, and they have proven that belief was well placed,” said LCVBC Club Co-Director Christina Cargill.
