GRANGEVILLE, ID – Idaho County authorities arrested a 33-year-old man on drug charges after a woman reported finding what she believed to be methamphetamine.
According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch received the call on March 12, 2025. A deputy responded and met with the woman, who provided the substance. Field testing confirmed it was methamphetamine.
The deputy later contacted the suspected owner, identified as Travis Luce, who admitted the drugs belonged to him, authorities said. Luce was then arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff’s office stated the report was released to inform the public about recent law enforcement activity. Officials also noted that all individuals accused of crimes are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
