BOISE, ID – Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador has announced new leadership appointments within his office. Dan Estes has been promoted to Director of Consumer Protection, and Damon Sidur has been named the new Communications Director.

Estes previously served as the Public Information Officer for the Attorney General’s Office beginning in November 2023. In that role, he was responsible for leading media relations and public awareness efforts on legal matters handled by the office. His promotion to Director of Consumer Protection places him at the helm of one of the office’s key divisions, tasked with overseeing investigations and enforcement related to consumer rights.

Sidur, who has been appointed as Communications Director, will be responsible for managing external communications and media strategy for the office moving forward. His appointment is effective immediately.

The changes reflect ongoing adjustments within the Attorney General’s Office under Labrador’s administration.
