Warrior Spring Student-Athletes Earn 50 Academic All-Cascade Conference Honors

CORVALLIS, OR – LC State had 50 spring student-athletes earn Academic All-Cascade Conference honors, announced by the conference office on Wednesday. The Warriors had 17 men’s track and field athletes, 12 baseball players, 10 women’s track and field athletes, six men’s golfers and five women’s golfers earn the accolade.

 

To earn recognition as an All-CCC Academic honoree, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2, at least a sophomore standing and have been identified with the institution for two full semesters.

 

The following 17 student-athletes represented men’s track and field: Jacob Adams, Connor Alexander, Jedidiah Barnaby, Tanner Beltz-Childs, James Bogdanowicz, Alexander Fry, Ian Gardom, Carter Gordon, Trenton Johnson, London Kirk, Conner May, Tristin O’Brien, Luke Sellmann, Perry Severijnse, Clay Shumaker, Sam Weller, Kobe Wessels

 

LC State Baseball had the second-most honorees with 12: Brandon Cabrera, Zachary Ediger, Bulla Ephan, Jake Green, Tucker Grote, Jordan Justice, Evan Overmars, Alex Sol, Kolby Solomon, Jace Taylor, Charlie Updegrave, Noah Weintraub

 

The Warrior Women’s Track and Field team had 10 earn the honor: Gianna Anderson, Haylee Appleford, Jennah Carpenter, Emily Collins, Abigail Shumaker, Madigan Kelly, Grace McCormick, Grace Osborne, Grace Tiegs, Sydnie Zywina

 

Golf combined for 11 honorees including: Isabella Barquet, Oscar Behle, Chase Caruso, Natalia Gomez, Kye Krall, Hunter Millsap, Alex Navarro, Myah Parsons, Owen Pearson, Dallis Shockey, Luke West
