MOSCOW, ID – The Moscow Tree Commission will observe Arbor Day on Friday, April 25, with a community tree-planting event at Berman Creekside Park from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. The event is free, open to the public, and family-friendly.
In collaboration with Paradise Creek Regional High School and the Rotary Club of Moscow, the Tree Commission will plant three redbud trees and two tricolor beech trees. The ceremony will begin at the park’s picnic shelter before participants assist in planting the trees.
Limited parking is available at the park, located at 382 Styner Avenue along Paradise Path. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or carpool if possible.
Free seedlings of bristlecone pine, Lewis syringa, and northern catalpa will be distributed to adults while supplies last.
The City of Moscow and the Tree Commission support Arbor Day as part of their commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy urban forest.
