SPOKANE, WA — One person is dead and another hospitalized following a shooting in North Spokane early Friday morning, according to the Spokane Police Department.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. on April 25, 2025, officers responded to a gas station at the intersection of Montgomery Avenue and Division Street after multiple 911 callers reported a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two individuals in the parking lot who had sustained gunshot wounds.
Despite life-saving efforts by officers at the scene, one victim was pronounced dead. The second victim was transported to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in critical but stable condition at the time of the department’s update.
Detectives with the Spokane Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit are investigating the incident. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233 and reference case number 2025-20080190.
