Thornton Man Arrested for DUI, Hit-and-Run After Injury Crash Near Rosalia

ROSALIA, WA – A 31-year-old Thornton man has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk and causing an injury crash and fleeing the scene.

The Washington State Patrol reports that the crash occurred Saturday night around 9:00 South of Rosalia at U.S. Highway 195 and Ralph Henning Road.

Troopers say that Riley Maley was driving drunk on the road and blew the stop sign at the highway and hit a Southbound pickup driven by 71 year old Richard Hattan of Colton.  Hattan was injured and taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Maley was not hurt and fled the scene in his pickup.  Troopers located Maley after a short search.  Maley was arrested for felony vehicular assault, hit and run and DUI.
