LEWISTON, ID – The Independent School District No. 1 Board of Directors has announced the hiring of David Kronemann as the new principal of Lewiston High School. Kronemann will officially begin his duties on July 1, 2025.
A 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School, Kronemann brings 18 years of experience in education to the position. His career includes work in special education, five years as a 7th-grade Life Science teacher, and roles as Dean of Students and Athletic Director at Lapwai. Most recently, he served as Principal of McSorley Elementary.
“I’m very excited for this opportunity to lead at the high school that gave me the foundation to pursue my goals as an educator,” Kronemann said. “Becoming the Principal of Lewiston High School has always been a goal of mine, and I am excited to continue to give back to our community and our students.”
The district stated it looks forward to Kronemann’s leadership in continuing to promote academic excellence, inclusion, and community pride.
