LEWISTON, ID – The Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District (LOID) will begin a mainline repair project on Vineyard Drive starting Monday, May 5, 2025. The project is expected to continue through May 23 or until work is completed.

As part of the project, a section of Vineyard Drive will be closed daily from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traffic control personnel will be stationed in the area to monitor road conditions and assist with alternate route access for residents.

LOID is urging drivers to allow extra travel time and use caution when navigating the detour routes. The district expressed appreciation for public cooperation and apologized for the inconvenience caused by the temporary closure.

The project is part of LOID’s continued efforts to improve infrastructure in the community.
