MOSES LAKE, WA – Six individuals were arrested on May 1 following the execution of a search warrant by the Moses Lake Street Crimes Unit (SCU), with assistance from the Moses Lake Tactical Response Team and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant was served at a residence located at 10032 Road N.4 NE in connection with an SCU investigation into illegal methamphetamine sales and unlawful firearm possession. During the search, detectives uncovered what they described as a large-scale illegal rooster fighting operation on the property.
Law enforcement seized six firearms, approximately seven ounces of heroin, two ounces of methamphetamine, and $30,000 in cash. Authorities also documented 71 roosters that had been illegally modified for fighting.
The following individuals were booked into the Grant County Jail and face charges that include illegal gambling, animal fighting, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and unlawful possession of a firearm:
