LEWISTON, ID – Coach Caelyn Orlandi announced the signing of transfer Ellee Brockman out of Western Washington University. The junior will join the Warriors in the fall.
“We are very excited that Ellee is going to be a Warrior,” Orlandi said. “Ellee brings great length and can score the ball in multiple ways. She can attack the basket extremely well, can post up and is an excellent shooter that will be able to stretch the floor for us. She will give us depth in our roster and will be able to play multiple positions on the court.”
Brockman helped WWU to a pair of GNAC titles and was an Academic All-GNAC selection last season. The 6-foot guard prepped at Kingston High School where she averaged 20 points and 14 rebounds per game as a senior. She shot 44.2% from the field.
The Kingston, Wash., native was named the Olympic League MVP as a senior as well as to the 2A All-State team. She earned all-league honors all four years. Brockman graduated in the top 10% of all seniors in the state of Washington and also played tennis.
“I know we signed an excellent player, and who Ellee is off the court is exactly the type of person we like to have in our program,” Orlandi added. “My assistant coach and I are thrilled that Ellee is going to continue her career with us and I know our team is as equally as excited.”
