Planned Power Outage to Affect Over 1,200 Clearwater Power Customers on May 10

LEWISTON, ID — Clearwater Power Company has announced a planned power outage for more than 1,200 of its members on Saturday, May 10, from 7 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m., due to maintenance work by the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).

The outage will impact several communities near the Idaho-Washington border and in northeastern Oregon, including:

  • Uniontown and Genesee areas

  • Southern region along the Idaho-Washington border

  • Top of the Lewiston Hill

  • Port of Wilma and outskirts of Clarkston

  • Asotin, Anatone, and nearby areas

  • Portions of northeastern Oregon

The BPA will be conducting maintenance and equipment work at the Port of Wilma substation during this time.

Clearwater Power is directly notifying affected members and encourages those with questions to contact the company at 208-743-1501. The member-owned electric cooperative serves over 11,500 rural accounts across parts of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
