SPOKANE VALLEY, WA — Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man found inside a motorhome on Tuesday, May 6.

Deputies responded around noon to a report of a deceased individual discovered in a parked RV located in the 6500 block of East Broadway Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies found an adult male who was clearly deceased. Due to the unknown circumstances surrounding the death, the scene was secured, and Major Crimes Detectives were called in.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Unit, along with a K9 Unit, Search and Rescue, and Traffic Investigators, assisted in processing the scene and canvassing the area for additional information.

Detectives say the investigation is still in its early stages as they work to determine what led to the man’s death and whether foul play was involved.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the decedent’s identity and the official cause and manner of death at a later time.
