Lewiston Launches New Utility Billing Payment System May 22

City of Lewiston

LEWISTON, ID – The City of Lewiston will implement a new online utility billing payment system beginning May 22. The upgrade is intended to provide tenants, homeowners, and businesses with additional options for managing and paying utility bills.

The updated system will allow users to set up automatic payments using credit cards, debit cards, or e-checks. Customers can also choose their own draft date between the 1st and 20th of the month. Other features include the ability to pay as a guest without setting up an account, access self-service tools for viewing water usage, applying credits, and downloading past bills, and using the system on mobile devices.

According to city officials, the new system will not include additional fees, and all payments will be applied directly to customers’ utility accounts.

To make payments, customers will need both their 10-digit account number and their service address as shown on their bill.

In addition to the online option, the city’s Pay by Phone system is now active. Residents can call the toll-free number 1-833-761-5606 at any time to make payments. The phone system also accepts credit cards, debit cards, and e-checks.

The city advises residents to prepare for the change by reviewing their utility bills and ensuring they have the required account information.
