Brett Young releases ‘Drink With You’

Brett Young debuted his newest single “Drink With You” after sharing details about his fourth studio album titled 2.0, produced by Jimmy Robbins and Dann Huff and set to drop on Friday, June 13th.

Young teamed up with Jesse Frasure, Tony Lucca and Emily Weisband to write “Drink With You,” described as “a pedal steel-stamped struggle of resisting alcohol-induced romantic temptations,” per a press release.  Young shares of the track: “‘Drink With You’ is a song about exes that can’t seem to make good decisions when they get together and there is alcohol involved. It’s a story as old as time about how it’s sometimes easy to fall back into old habits rather than move on.”

Young adds regarding the album: “It’s always my goal to be real and transparent and connect with my audience, whether that means writing a song about what happened yesterday or revisiting past experiences. It should always be about a connection with the listeners. 2.0 feels really special to me, and I’m very proud of it. I hope it makes people want to come out and see the live show even more.”
