Latah County Library Board Candidate Bradley Baas Arrested For Allegedly Driving Drunk In Moscow

MOSCOW, ID – A candidate for Latah County Library Board was arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly driving drunk in Moscow.

22 year old Bradley Baas of Moscow was arrested at the McDonald’s on Pullman Road. According to court documents, Baas was spotted by employees allegedly drinking a beer while behind the wheel of his vehicle in the drive thru.

A Moscow Police Officer responded and Baas took a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer test. Baas’s blood alcohol level registered just below 0.14, over the legal limit 0.08. The officer reportedly found an open beer can in the car. He was booked into the Latah County Sheriff’s Office Jail for misdemeanor DUI.

Baas is challenging Latah County Library Board Trustee Marci Miller in Tuesday’s election.
