LEWISTON, ID – Downtown Lewiston will come alive with Disney magic on July 11–12, 2025, as the community celebrates “A Century of Love,” a free, two-day event honoring the 100th wedding anniversary of Walt and Lillian Disney. Lillian (Bounds) Disney was born and raised in the Lapwai and Lewiston area, and the couple was married in Lewiston in 1925.
The celebration, organized by the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce, will feature themed festivities, live performances, costume contests, family activities, and more—all inspired by the legacy of Disney and Lillian’s local roots.
Event Schedule:
Friday, July 11 – “Dapper Days” (5 PM – 11 PM)
Location: Brackenbury Square & Pioneer Park

5–7 PM: Food, drinks, and music in Downtown Lewiston

7 PM: Dapper costume contest for best-dressed man and woman

7:30 PM: Live music with Disney covers at Sound Downtown

Dusk: Free outdoor screening of Moana 2 in Pioneer Park

Saturday, July 12 – “Century of Love: Disney Anniversary Celebration” (10 AM – 12 PM)
Location: Brackenbury Square and Downtown Lewiston

10 AM: Kids’ Parade – Children are invited to dress as their favorite Disney character and decorate wagons, bikes, or carts for the parade

10:30 AM: Costume Contest – Categories include Best Mickey/Minnie, Best Disney Princess, and Best Disney Character

10:30 AM: Live “Frozen” performance and a cake-cutting ceremony
