Disney-Themed Weekend to Celebrate Lillian Disney’s Legacy in Lewiston

LEWISTON, ID – A two-day community celebration honoring Lillian Disney, wife of Walt Disney, is scheduled to take place in downtown Lewiston July 11–12, 2025. Titled “A Century of Love,” the event commemorates the 100th wedding anniversary of Walt and Lillian Disney, who were married in Lewiston in 1925. Lillian (Bounds) Disney was born and raised in the Lapwai and Lewiston area.

The event, hosted by the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce, aims to highlight Lillian’s local roots while embracing the enduring cultural impact of Disney.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, July 11 – “Dapper Days” (5 PM – 11 PM)
Events at Brackenbury Square and Pioneer Park will include:

Saturday, July 12 – “Century of Love: Disney Anniversary Celebration” (10 AM – 12 PM)

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and participate in the activities celebrating the Disney legacy and Lillian Disney’s local heritage.
