MOSCOW, ID — The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission have announced four new sculpture installations at the Intermodal Transit Center (ITC) Sculpture Garden, featuring works by University of Idaho students from the College of Art + Architecture. The installations will remain on display through May 2026.
The featured student artists and their selected works are:
- Maple Cooper – Out of Water
- Kendra Marquardt – The Learning Cube
- Liam Peterson – Conjoined
- Kurt David Wester – Universal Sound
These sculptures are part of a rotating exhibition at the ITC Sculpture Garden, which has showcased public art since its creation in 2012. The garden serves as a year-round exhibition space for emerging regional artists and is accessible to the public and transit users alike.
All sculptures on display are available for purchase. Interested buyers may contact the City of Moscow Arts Department.
Moscow’s public art program includes over 220 permanent and temporary works, ranging from utility box wraps and bus shelter art to framed pieces and large-scale sculpture. The city’s collection is supported by a 1% for the Arts fund and guided by a Public Art Master Plan adopted in 2015.
