Nez Perce County Offices to Temporarily Close During June Courthouse Move

LEWISTON, ID – Several Nez Perce County departments will temporarily close or adjust operations throughout June as they transition to the new courthouse facility. County officials released a detailed schedule outlining when each department will move and when services will resume at the new location.

The Board of County Commissioners, Emergency Management, Planning and Building, and the Prosecutor’s Office will be closed from June 2 through June 4. These offices will reopen to the public on June 5 at the new courthouse.

District Court is scheduled to move on June 9 and June 10. During this period, it will remain open to the public in the old courthouse and will begin serving the public from the new courthouse on June 12.

The Treasurer’s Office will move on June 11 and June 12 but will stay open to the public during the transition at the new courthouse.

The Auditor/Recorder’s Office will be closed from June 16 through June 19 and will reopen on June 20.

The Assessor’s Office and Auto License Office will be closed June 18 and June 19, with public services resuming on June 20.

Nez Perce County officials expressed their appreciation for the public’s patience during the relocation and said they look forward to serving residents in the new courthouse facility.
