PULLMAN, WA — Road construction and maintenance projects are underway at Washington State University in Pullman, impacting several key campus routes as summer improvements begin.
Crews began repaving Stadium Way between the Nevada Street intersection and Wilson Road on May 26. Traffic is limited to one lane in each direction, with a full closure of Cougar Way to Wilson Road scheduled from June 2 through June 6. Additional work at the Nevada Street intersection will occur June 3–12, with detours in place.
Separately, Avista Utilities is performing utility work on Grimes Way between Olympia Avenue and Dairy Road. That road segment will be reduced to a single lane May 27–30, with flaggers managing traffic.
Other projects include maintenance on various campus parking lots, a continued closure of Spokane Street through August for chilled water piping installation, and additional city road work in Pullman.
