Rapper J.I.D has announced the release date for his fourth studio album, God Does Like Ugly, dropping on August 8th via Dreamville/Interscope Records.
The announcement follows the release of “WRK,” JID’s first new solo track since the 2023 double-single Blackboyz present Half Doin Dope/Van Gogh with Lil Yachty and BabyTron. ‘WRK’ arrived alongside an official music video directed by Chad Tennies and produced by Satin Heart, which you can check out HERE.
The rapper said in a statement: “Starting this new journey coming off ‘The Forever Story’ has been a very strange, productive yet tedious process, but I live my life by the saying ‘You can only control what you can control. So this is the first step into a new world that I control. And. It’s. F*cking. UGLY.”
