ESPN to Broadcast Vandals Football Twice in 2025

MOSCOW, ID – The Big Sky Conference and ESPN announced on Thursday that the Idaho Vandal Football program will be playing on ESPN Networks twice this upcoming season.

On September 27, Idaho will renew one of the oldest rivalries in the country with the Montana Grizzlies in the celebrated “Little Brown Stein” game. It will air on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. The network and kickoff time will be announced on a later date.

Idaho’s matchup against Northern Arizona, originally planned for November 1, has officially been moved to October 31, kickoff time at 7:30 p.m. pacific time. The Halloween matchup will air live on ESPN2.

Idaho is one of two teams in the Big Sky Conference to have two games broadcast on ESPN linear networks this season. This is the third consecutive year the Vandals have had at least two games broadcast on linear ESPN networks.

This is the first time in conference history that the Big Sky has had four regular season conference games chosen for national linear distribution by ESPN’s networks.

It was also announced on Thursday that the Vandals September 20 game against San Jose State will kick off at 2:00 p.m. The game can be seen on the Mountain West Network (streaming and NBC Sports Bay Area).
