WENATCHEE, WA — Law enforcement agencies are actively searching for 32-year-old Travis Caleb Decker, who is wanted in connection to the deaths of three young girls whose bodies were discovered June 2 in a remote area of Chelan County.

Decker is currently wanted on charges including three counts of Murder in the First Degree, three counts of Kidnapping in the First Degree, and three counts of Custodial Interference in the First Degree. A manhunt is underway after the suspect’s vehicle was located near Rock Island Campground, off Icicle Road near Leavenworth. The vehicle was unoccupied.

The investigation began on May 30 when the children’s mother reported that her daughters — ages 5, 8, and 9 — had not been returned following a scheduled visitation with their father. Decker was last seen driving a white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Washington license plate D20165C. Initial searches of local hotels and motels did not yield results. Law enforcement tracked the vehicle heading westbound on Highway 2 from Wenatchee.

On June 2, Chelan County deputies and detectives, aided by the FBI, Homeland Security, and a helicopter, located the truck and later discovered the bodies of the girls in the surrounding area. The East Cascade SWAT Team and Washington State Patrol’s Crime Scene Response Team were brought in to secure and process the scene. As of June 3, Decker has not been located.

Authorities warn that Decker may pose a significant risk and should not be approached. He is described as 5’8″, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and dark shorts.

Anyone who may have seen Decker since May 30 or has information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.

Due to safety concerns, the public is advised not to attempt to contact or approach the suspect.
