BOISE, ID – Idaho Fish and Game is inviting the public to take part in Free Fishing Day on Saturday, June 14. On this day, both residents and nonresidents can fish without a license anywhere in the state.

While fishing licenses are waived for the day, all other regulations, including bag limits and gear restrictions, remain in effect.

To help new anglers get started, Fish and Game will host several free fishing events statewide, offering instruction and assistance for beginners. For more information, including local event locations, visit the Idaho Fish and Game website.
