LEWISTON – The City of Lewiston is currently implementing temporary nighttime closure of Bryden Canyon Road from 11:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. On Friday, June 13, the road will be closed until 9:00 a.m., the city announced on Friday evening.
Since June 1, the road has been closed throughout the nighttime hours while crews have been performing stormwater maintenance. Poe Asphalt has now also been contracted to complete a “blade patch” of Bryden Canyon Road on Friday.
The company will utilize the road closure currently in place for storm system cleaning, but will need some daylight to complete the work. Therefore, the closure hours are being extended on Friday, June 13th only, when Bryden Canyon Road to remain closed until 9 a.m.
No additional closures are expected for the road after June 13. The city says unforeseen conditions could alter schedules.
