Josh Graetz Named Head Coach of WSU Women’s Tennis

PULLMAN, WA – Washington State University has named Josh Graetz as the new Head Coach of the Cougars’ Women’s Tennis team, the school announced Friday. Graetz steps into the role after serving two seasons as assistant coach, helping the program rise from a 7-15 record to a 20-8 season and a National Invitational Tournament title.

WSU Athletic Director Anne McCoy said Graetz has earned the trust of student-athletes and demonstrated strong leadership during his time in Pullman. Graetz becomes the program’s ninth head coach.

Previously, he led both the men’s and women’s tennis programs at Metropolitan State University of Denver, compiling a combined 107 wins across five seasons. A native of Albury, Australia, Graetz also holds several school records from his playing career at MSU Denver.

Graetz expressed gratitude for the opportunity and emphasized his commitment to developing student-athletes on and off the court.
