PULLMAN, WA – The Vice President of the Pullman Chamber of Commerce board has been hired to be the organization’s new executive director.
Pete Chittenden was hired by the board last week. Monday was Chittenden’s first day on the job. He has volunteered with the chamber for four years. Chittenden has served on the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation Board, the United Way of Whitman County Board and the advisory committee for the Boys & Girls Club in Pullman. He replaces longtime Chamber Executive Director Marie Dymkoski who resigned in April. Interim Pullman Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Alexis Foran is returning to her normal duties as tourism director.
The chamber has also announced that Tim Braun has been hired to be the new business and communications manager. Braun and Chittenden formerly worked together at the DABCO property management firm in Pullman. He replaces Audrey Hughes who recently left the chamber to return to her hometown in Texas.
