Latto has unveiled her latest song, “Somebody,” produced by Pooh Beatz – marking the Atlanta rapper’s first solo release since dropping her last album Sugar Honey Iced Tea in 2024. “Somebody” builds around an interpolation of Aaliyah’s 1998 single “Are You That Somebody?

Somebody arrives alongside the music video for the track, directed by Latto’s younger sister Brooklyn Nikole. The visual was filmed during a getaway to Jamaica, featuring scenes of Latto lounging on the beach, celebrating with friends, and sunbathing on a bamboo raft.
