Felony Meth Charge Follows Kooskia Traffic Stop

KOOSKIA, ID – A routine traffic stop in Kooskia led to the arrest of a 64-year-old man on drug-related charges Thursday evening, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 8:58 p.m. on June 12, 2025, an Idaho County deputy pulled over a vehicle on Main Street for expired registration, failure to signal, and failing to stop before entering the roadway.

The driver, identified as Rickey Adams, was subsequently arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office noted that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The charges reflect allegations made at the time of arrest.
