LEWISTON, ID – Lewis-Clark State College will welcome educators from across Idaho for a four-day professional development event focused on STEM education from June 23 to 26.

The i-STEM Institutes, organized in partnership with the Idaho STEM Action Center, offer K–12 educators hands-on training in science, technology, engineering, and math. This year’s theme, “Building Connections in STEM,” emphasizes experiential learning and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Participants will engage in specialized sessions tailored to various grade levels, including:

Each day’s schedule runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at LCSC’s Sacajawea Hall in Lewiston.

The i-STEM Institutes are part of a statewide effort to support Idaho’s growing demand for STEM-skilled workers. State labor projections estimate STEM job growth at 15.4% by 2030—well above the national average. By equipping educators with practical STEM tools and strategies, the event aims to better prepare students for future careers in high-demand fields.
