KENNEWICK, WA – A Silver Alert has been issued for Steven Wadsworth, a Benton County resident who has been missing since Friday night. Authorities, family, and friends are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

A family member of Wadsworth says they have reason to believe he may be in the Lewiston area.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies and detectives carried out an extensive search on Saturday in the area near Old Inland Empire Road and W. Knox Road, located west of the Tri-Cities. Despite the effort, Wadsworth has not been located.

Wadsworth has underlying medical conditions and is known to use a walker, which was discovered at his home. The fact that the walker was left behind has raised serious concerns about his safety.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey shirt, and a black jacket. He is described as approximately six feet tall with a thin build.

Anyone with information regarding Wadsworth’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at 509-628-0333. The case remains under active investigation.
