LEWISTON, ID – A $30,000 donation from Clearwater Paper’s Lewiston team is helping support local youth through the newly opened Canyon View Center, a residential treatment facility for children ages 7 to 14.

The funds, given in October 2024, were used by Northwest Children’s Home to furnish the center with heavy-duty, safety-focused furniture designed specifically for the needs of children in psychiatric care. The facility provides year-round, 24/7 care and is designed to keep kids close to their families and support systems during treatment.

“We truly appreciate Clearwater Paper’s support,” said a spokesperson for Northwest Children’s Home. “Canyon View Center provides a much-needed treatment option in our area. The work we do is hard, but the difference we make is worth it. It takes a village—and we’re proud to have Clearwater Paper as part of ours.”

Clearwater Paper’s local charitable committee says the donation is part of their ongoing effort to support meaningful programs that make a difference in the community.
